Man: "Excuse me, miss?"
Me: "Yes?"
Man: "Your zipper's down."

It had been at least two hours since I used the bathroom too which also means it was down all through my program orientation. That man sure was a good Samaritan but gee wizz am I awkward.

yikes. how awkward, indeed. at least someone finally said something, though - nothing worse than realizing it yourself once you've gotten home after hours of being out and about!

what are you orienting for anyway?

I am doing a six week intensive publishing program in hopes of getting a job shortly afterwards in the magazine business. it's really fun but really time consuming. alsooo...BRIAN JUST SIGNED A LEASE ON A HOUSE. he's moving to georgetown with two other guys and I'm already bugging him to have a party there even though they're technically not supposed to....so yeah brian is doing really well.

georgetown as in redding, sorry i shouldve clarified. he's a reporter for the Wilton Bulletin. Thank you for the good wishes! Ideally, I would like to work for a travel magazine but hey who doesn't? I really would take any job that takes me as long as it's in New York City and isn't Popular Mechanics or Men's Golf Digest or something of that sort.
