Man, aside from the obvious, I really hope Obama gets elected simply because...well, he's handsome, and I'd sure rather see his cute face plastered all over the news etc. for the next four years than McCain's unfortunate mug.

oh, i've already said it. obama is on my short-list - the list of celebs i can hook up with w/o repercussions (as far as my man is concerned). obama is beautiful, charismatic, intelligent...i like.

I've actually never heard him speak, because I don't watch TV, so I don't know about the charisma bit...but damn, he's got great features. I mean, it doesn't take much to beat Bush, but this is so much better than, god forbid, _Kerry_.

i don't have tv either, but that is what the YouTube is for, Erin! and while i totally agree with you about obama being a handsome man, you gotta hear him speak to really get why people are so in love with him.

I could've sworn I said something on LJ back in '04 after the DNC convention about how hott he is, but I can't find it. I'm quite sure I thought it around then, though! I was all, "Who is this guy? Why's he so HOTT? How'd they let a HOTT person into the DNC?"
