Honestly. It's not even the fact that she is doing the solo, because I do think she sounded good. It's just, I had no IDEA we were "in competition" for it. He never even acted like anyone else was going to do it, and it just made no sense for her to all of a sudden want to do it. Why wait till the DAY BEFORE competition? And.. she already HAS solos, and shes playing piccolo not flute, why couldn't she let me have ONE solo? I'm a freaking senior and I just don't think it was the right thing to do. I wouldn't have cared if when Schaar told me to do the solo, if she had asked for it. Or how come she didn't just play it from the beginning then? I mean, after all the sticking up for her I did.. and when I first did the solo she was like "Oh you sounded great!" Why would she even bother?
