Being Comprehensive

Well, I'm one week in to the dreaded comprehensive exam.  So far it really isn't all that bad.  I have 3 weeks to write 10,000 words on my favourite theoretical topics.  Actually, I've already surpassed 10,000 words, so I am working on cutting back in order to add much more in.

I feel kind of guilty, like I'm not doing this right because my ( Read more... )

*hugs* I'm not sure that time ever really changes that missing someone. I know it hasn't yet for me.

Glad the comps are going so well! A fellow I work with just finished his, and he was rather stressed out.

I find missing people long gone goes in fits and starts for me. I won't for a long time, and then something will remind me, and I will for a while after whatever reminded me has long passed. Then I won't for a while again. Life is funny.

3 weeks for 10 000 words? I'm a bit envious. I have 5 days to write the same amount. (Mind, it's broken up into 3 papers... and it didn't get done last week because of the 3 other papers that I wrote.)
