Over on my yahoogroup, The_Black_Pearl_Sails, Biz kindly posted a Valentine's Day challenge for us. Well, I reckon I know who Jack's true love really is, or anyhow this little vignette is what the muses delivered. 499 words of me waxing overly poetical:

Well, that's okay, you can kick my muses as well as yours! LOL! Besides, it never hurts me to stretch my abilities once in a while. Ouch. *G*

BTW, I LOVE that vignette! It's simply brilliant, and I am going to have to add it to my recs page, too. Well, after asking the author's permission, of course. I get way too serious and weighty sometimes: I very much like her lighter, more frivolous style. Thanks for pointing me that way, as I'd have never found it.
