I will be so unhappy...even if they retcon the whole thing out of existence later. Nobody wants Batman to die....come on - it's - it's Batman. BATMAN. Kill Jason again if you've got to kill somebody, and do us all a favor; make sure he stays dead this time...ugh. XD

If they killed Batman, DC would be ruining what is, arguably, their most profitable franchise.

I mean, in the Marvelverse, Cap was a devastating death, but there's still enough to keep readers reading. The Captain America monthly series is one of the best mags out there right now and Cap is DEAD!

Agreed. It seems like an obvious bad move for DC to make, especially when you consider the fact that Warner Bros. probably wouldn't be too thrilled about it. Most likely, they're hoping to up sales by freaking out the fanbase. *knocks on wood*

Except for the fact that Superman has already died...and granted, he's back. However, it's better not to have been killed at all, I'd say, lol.
