not having the internet sucks. our last apartment didn't have cable available, and the dsl in flagstaff was a joke so we went without for the year. I accessed it at school, but now it's just sweet, sweet bandwidth any time I need. =D
there's been flooding? nobody tells me nothin'. anything wrecked?

Nothing much wrecked as far as I know. A few people I know are having to pump out their basements. There's no water out by my house, but this is what the park looked like when I went past it today:

The streets downtown looked like that too in quite a few places. It was more amusing than serious. Last fall was worse. Then my yard was a big lake for a couple of days and my basement leaked and so did the chimney which meant there was a butt load of nasty sooty water in my living room. Yay for having hardwood floors instead of carpet though!
