I haven't posted much lately, but it seems like there's not really much to post about right now.  I haven't really been up to much beyond working.  I hang out at Angie's house from time to time, and with my boss, but that's pretty much it for people I see with any regularity.  Mostly I just work and sit around at home

Yeah but you have a live-in friend to hang out with, which does so count. So there. I suppose that my main concerns about a roommate are whether they are going to trash my house and leave me with the bill or fail to pay their share or cause problems with Daisy either because they are jerks or because their friends come over and fail to respect the fact that she is terrified of strangers. Also it's not just whether I get along with them, but the fact that they are in such close contact at all.

I think that really it was more of a quick-to-anger phase than a total lunatic phase, but whatever.

I think the "raging lunatic" part must've come after I moved too, 'cause I don't remember it at all. social awkwardness sucks, I completely understand. but maybe getting a roommate will wind up as a good thing, you never know. maybe she'll be an amateur astronomer too, haha, you guys can share lenses. ok, that's as much positive thinking as I can maintain at 7:30am.
sorry to hear about Rusty, that's sad. glad your new pup is doing well though. =) our two dogs seem to be gradually slipping into dog insanity. weirdos.

Yeah, I keep hoping that I'll wind up making friends with the new people and it will all be cool. Like maybe they will really really enjoy doing the dishes, but that may be stretching it a bit.

What sort of doggy insanity are you experiencing?
