Harry Potter Review...
Here is my review click behind the cut.
Oh my freaking God! This movie rocked. I would have to say that so far this is the best out of the series. They cut out a lot of stuff like S.P.E.W. but that was okay. They also cut down Rita Skeeter's part. She was in there for one scene and there was no mention of her being a beetle. I guess that you have to be choosey with what you take out.
The movie opens like the book with the scene with Voldermort in his father's house plotting with Wormtail. It then moves to the Burrow right before the Quidditch World Cup. Hermione wakes up Harry and Ron. There is a hilarious scene when Ron realizes that Hermione is waking him up. It moves next to the World Cup. Again this is short because they had to cut things. Next they are at Hogwarts and bam the other schools are there. So on and so forth the champions are chosen along with Harry, the first task happens. Harry fights the dragon. This time he burns his broom. You know the rest till the Yule ball. That was very funny (Flitwick crowed surfed in a mosh pit) although the ending of it confused me a little. Why Hermione said Ron ruined the Ball for her, I have no idea. Maybe because he didn't ask her.
The tasks move on and everything flows like it does in the book. Of course they added stuff to make the movie better. I don't remember Batty Crouch Jr. bewitching Krum to attack everyone, but I could have missed that. Moving on to the Tri Wizard Cup, Diggory and Harry grab it. Bam they are at the graveyard. Harry reconizes it from his dreams he's been having. Wormtail and Riddle (I refuse to call him Voldermort) come out. Wormtail kills Diggory and then Riddle gets dropped in the cauldren and all the ingredents are added for him to come back to power. He does in a very cool scene. Ralph Phines rocks as Riddle let me be the first to say that. The Death Eaters are called and each is revield to Harry. Riddle frees Harry and they duel. Riddle pulls the typical I-the-bad-guy-I'm-going-to-kill-you. He fails because he and Harry have brother wands and Harry escapes with Diggory's body. Crouch Jr. trys to caputure Harry after Harry gets back but of course the calavory arrives and saves Harry. The end.
There was no mention of a lot of this here. Like the reason why Harry's parents came back as spirits but if you have read the books you already know why. This movie has also become really not for little kids. They would easily get scared from the beginning with the snake and dark mark.
Even with all of the mistakes in this movie, I really recomend going to see it. You won't be dissapointed.
