1. Elaborate on your default icon:
• It makes me laugh, I don't remember where it came from. I'm sure I stole it. My default icon used to be a moving .gif from Sinfest. abortiondebate told me I couldn't use it as my default because it changed all my icons on previous posts and it was offensive to pro-lifers. See it in comments below.
2. What's your current relationship status?
• Engaged. Trying to plan a wedding. The time just keeps slipping away. I kept thinking oh we've got a year, then one day I wake up and it's only 9 months. Should be fun :)
3. Ever have a near-death experience?
• Yes I suppose. I've been in a couple of bad car accidents. Nothing where my life magically flashed in front of my eyes though.
4. Name an obvious quality you have.
• I dye my hair blond.
5. What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now?
• Nothing. Amazingly.
6. Any celeb you would marry?
• Well. Jared Leto is hot. But so is my fiance. I keep telling him he needs to sing in a punk band, but he'd rather be a DJ. (Disclaimer: That is not to say that Jared Leto's band is anything other than crappy emo. But he's still hot.)

• Probably no one. If you've gotten this far I'm impressed.

• 1955 - Chow Yun-Fat, Hong Kong actor (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon)

• Natalie Portman as Evey Hammond
10. Have you ever vandalized someone's private property?
• Yes. And then realized half way through the night that spray painting public property was a more ethical idea.
11. Have you ever been in a fight?
• Yes. Twice in Jr. High. I got my ass kicked both times.
12. Have you ever sung in front of a large audience?
• Yes. In a musical in High School. I keep the video tape in a secret room. Guarded by monkeys.
13. What's the first thing you notice about the OPPOSITE sex?
• Face. Facial hair is an instant turnoff.
14. What do you usually order from Starbucks?
• I believe I wrote about my last Starbucks experience here. Suffice it to say I hate their coffee and try not to go there at all. I have however discovered the best coffee in Denver. That's right. Through an extensive interview process, Kaladi Brothers on Evans between Franklin and University (right across the street from a Starbucks) has the best Irish Cream latte I've ever had.
15. Have you ever hurt yourself on purpose?
• Yep. Age 13 or so. I think it was more of an attention getting thing.
16. Say something totally random about yourself.
• I just got back from Yoga camp on Monday. 6 hours of "corepower" yoga in 2 days. I am buff.
17. Has anyone ever said you looked like a celebrity?
• My Dad's crazy mother is always saying I look like Ashley Judd. Everyone else fails to see the resemblance.
18. Do you wear a watch?
• Sometimes. For a month or two I will then I take it off and forget about it for a while.
19. Do you have anything pierced?
• 4 earrings, bellybutton and tongue. Used to have my nipples pierced but got bored with them.
20. Do you have any tattoos?
• I do now. I just got the outline for my statue of liberty tattoo on my left arm. You can see it when it's done. I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not to color it or just shade it. Today I'm leaning toward color. It all depends on what I'm doing for the background. Recently I've been thinking about fireworks. Or a pile of skulls and fetuses with angel wings.
21. Do you like pain?
• No but I can tolerate most of it. I thought my tattoo would hurt but it didn't.
22. Do you like to shop?
• Yes. Just not for groceries, I'd rather have them delivered. And even shopping online for groceries hasn't happened since before we moved at the end of May...
23. What was the last thing you paid for with cash?
• Coffee this morning.
24. What was the last thing you paid for with a credit card?
• Thai food.
25. Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone?
• My sister in FL. She's coming to visit next week because our little brother just got out of jail...That's a whole other story *sigh*
26. What is on your desktop background?
• A picture of my nephew on the 4th of July with my mom's sunglasses on doing a little dance with his index fingers in the air. Like the alien thing in Flight of the Navigator.
27. What is the background on your cell phone?
• Some flower thing that came with the phone.
28. Do you like redheads?
• No. In fact I am specifically not attracted to female redheads. Just after I quit high school a redhead had a huge crush on me. I made out with her once then she got all puppy dog on my ass. Oh, and someone cheated on me with a redhead once.
29. Do you know any twins?
• Not anymore.
30. Do you have any weird relatives?
• My dad's mother and his step-mom.
31. What was the last movie you watched?
• Part of Meet the Parents on TV while recovering from my hangover I got at yoga camp.
32. What was the last book you read?
The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell, sequel to Children of God. Interesting writer. If the books hadn't been borrowed I would have taken a highlighter to them to look up all the words I've never seen before. Guess that's what happens when an anthropologist goes from writing science articles and tech manuals to writing religious science fiction.
