i actually wrote a post quite similar to this last night (a very long one, not the short "falls on deaf ears" one i privated late this morning which was a result of having written said long post) but decided to private it. mostly because my take on it was that once you have had those kinds of days and reached that kind of perspective, there's not much point talking about it because the only people who will get it are those who have already had it happen to them, and there's far less of them than you would believe. either that, or they've become mute like me, so you never knew they were there to begin with. either way, you're fucked. like you said. the cosmic wow couldnt care less.
