I was sitting with shammash on the little human's bed, and we were playing. I was poking my butt at shammash so he'd get the hint. But all he wanted to do was play like kittens, not like grown-up cats.

Is he retarded or something?

Mommy clipped my nails! And she's not coming to bed! Mean Mommy.

But, she gave me a treat after she clipped my nails, so I guess she's OK. And she does pet me.

She tells me that I used to peck the treats out of her hand and drop them on the floor to eat them last time, and that she guesses nothing much has changed. Mommy's so silly.

Mommy hissed at me this morning for playing with the cool stuff she'd left right where I could bat at it. I was having fun pushing around the little round flat things that made such a cool noise, and even more fun with that thing that was all these beads on a metal string. Joy of eating rice from a trusted, loving hand

I suppose it isn't all evil after all. Mommy has water in her hair this morning, and it's going drip... drip... drip... down her back.

So I'm catching the drops with my paws. Sometimes she jumps. It's fun.

Why does Mommy say, "Thank you for showing your appreciation" in that tone of voice that says she doesn't mean it after she sees me get a drink from that big white thing with the fresh clean water inside that's in the room with my siss-box?

Crawled up on Mommy's lap, because Mommy was petting me. She was playing with that thing with all the buttons, so I put my hand on it to see what it did. Mommy hissed at me and set me on her shoulder.

Mommy does pet well, though.

Well, a good thing and a bad thing.

Mommy got me something new to scratch! She got new floor-fur for the floor by the door to her lair. That's nice.

But then, she yelled at me for scratching those things she wears on her lower paws! Meanie.
