The wedding was a total and complete bust. Anya and Xander never completely reconciled after that uberfiasco. However, against all odds, one small miracle did occur because of it, and the Harrises and the “circus folk” eventually did come together after.
A year after that dismal disaster, and six months after the city of Sunnydale was swallowed by the hellmouth, Krelvin and Cousin Carol sent out their wedding invitations. Love had blossomed and flourished since they discovered one another at the ill-fated reception.
Their love was the good kind of love, tender, appreciative, and honestly reciprocated. They were good for one another. Complimented one another. Smoothed out each other’s irregular edges and filled in the voids left by countless past cruelties and hurts. That this twosome actually managed to find one another was extraordinary, and nothing else in this dimension or any other mattered from that day forward, just their love and happiness.
The service was exquisite, as were the bride and groom. The bride appearing much thinner dressed in her traditional blood larva. In addition, the groom a lot less craggy in his spiffy burlap.
All naysayers were put to rest about the marriage not lasting by a simple glance at the couple's shining faces. A simple glance, and a ceremonial dagger anointed by the high priest. In addition, after the ceremony, the man with the rugged skin condition, and the woman with the bit of a weight problem cut a magnificent swath across the dance floor in the traditional human way, without a scythe. All rejoiced at the most perfect union amazingly formed sans magicks and spells, and brought about completely naturally in a world of supernatural affairs, sadness and heartbreak.
