OK, because I understand curiosity I will hunt n' peck my way to an explenation.
The short version is: I got angry and punched my dash, which is slanted so my pinky hit first and now I have a "boxer's break" in the bones of my hand. WHY I was angry is a longer story that I'll probably mass blog once I peck it all out
