A “unique fusion of Cambodian and American cuisine,” Cambod-Ican offers a great selection for a light meal at a great price. Try their curried vegetable bowl with chicken for just $8.95 or the shish kabob platter served on a bed of rice for $6.95. You’re guaranteed to feel satisfied but not weighed down like you just ingested a huge platter of steak and potatoes. But be aware of the limited menu selection after 10pm. Cambod-Ican Kitchen, Tues. through Thurs., 4pm - midnight; Fri. and Sat., 4pm - 3am, 1701 E. Carson St., 412.381.6199, www.cambodicankitchen.com
Figured you might be interested in this from a post where I mentioned that I thought I saw a Cambodian restaurant in Squirrel Hill (turned out to be some Tawainese cafe...bummer). Not sure how good the place is ("________ and American cuisine" makes me skiddish), but if I get a chance to go there I'll let you know whether or not its worth making the trip.
