Sir, I think it moved!
So the first start was a success. Turned over the engine just fine and it idled right. No exhaust leaks from the main cylinder head. The bike didn't suddenly jump into gear and take off, so it seems nothing drastically wrong happened with the clutch. A small oil leak from the oil filter, but some gasket sealant will fix that. For the last probably 10-20mins I've had the taste of baked pretzel in my mouth. Maybe because I had been talking to my brother earlier today about making pizza dough. mmm....pretzel dough and salt. -

So today I decided to walk from the shopping center instead of paying $1 to take the bus maybe a mile? surely not 1.5. I'm getting my bike ready for my trip up north and I've discovered that I can't find the stupid key. Tore apart my room looking too. I think I might have managed to leave it in the suv when my brother took it up north. Well, I called around today and it turns out that a locksmith will indeed make a new key that fits the original lock. yay! I was ( Read more... ) -
Up Late
Picked up my guitar for the first time in a little while. Heh, my poor finger tips probably don't appreciate it at the moment. Almost done with the summer quarter classes. Next week after tues 1:30pm I'll be completely free. :grin: I think I'll get an A for the first time in awhile. Kind of frustrating missing that by just a little in other classes ( Read more... )
