There are idiots like that on the road in all countries. The closest I have ever had was when my daughter was nearly hit by a speeding car runnign a red light. She was only 2 weeks old and I was crossing the road wiht her in her pram. Missed the pram by about 4 inches :P

I got his number plate though :D ;)

*hugs* I'm glad you're alright! And I know what you mean. Idiots shouldn't have licneses. I almost got in a wreck when some jackass floored it out of his driveway in reverse and didn't even bother to look to see if someone was coming. I had to swerve out into the other lane to miss him. Thank God there wasn't someone coming in the opposite direction. It's times like those that make me wish I were a cop.

I know the feeling; one time I had some guy floor his brakes on infront of me and I had to swerve out into the oncoming lane to avoid him as he made an ultra slow turn down a backstreet. Not cool.

If I screw up with street corners, I take the corner quick as I can so that the guy behind me doesnt get hit by me or someone else.
