Man alive! I am acting ‘team leader’ while one of my colleagues is on a Caribbean cruise for two and a half weeks. We had a barney in the department yesterday arvo. have you ever seen that Spielberg TV film where Dennis Weaver is being followed by a truck - I could hear the gradually building chase theme (bass & drums) from about the mention of Christopher Cross

I hope you didn't damage your thumb - you need all of them for cassette reassembly

Amazed to learn that a) Christopher Cross is still alive and b) that ppl still go to his goncerts. I think I got gonfused by the fact that the writer/director of ARTHUR died v. young. I wonder if today you cld still make a hit film abt an amusing/endearing millionaire drunk who gets his cock washed by a snooty Brit butler.

Yes, and she doesn't even like his records, but she thinks that one can't judge an act until one has seen them play live, so she has to go and see Blue and Joss Stone and everyone! The plaster has gone back on today for another four weeks.

They are REMAKING Arthur with Hugh Grant and Richard Briers, plus Dud'n''Gud in CGI making knowing remarks!
