The SPV runs Microsoft's crappy phone operating system, which is incredibly unstable. I used to have a pocket PC, also with the microsoft o/s and had to send it back, it was so bad.

I suggest a Sony Ericsson P800, P900 or P910 - they run the Symbian system which is very, very stable, and are excellent PDAs too. I've been using them for over two years without any crashing problems or battery issues.

They have a wonderful touch screen and pen input. Very highly recommended!

No problem. If you get a 910, they support memory cards up to something like 1GB, so it's a viable high capacity mp3 player :)
