The Trust has put back the date for telling us who will be made compulsarily redundant. Over 200 people applied for voluntary redundancy and only 5 of them were approved. 675 posts out of around 4,500 need to be cut and admin staff (i.e people like me) are most at risk. Thank you for your message. Unfortunately there will be no pay out for me as I have worked here less than two years.

The 5/200 is interesting - any idea what sort of people are trying to escape but still wanted?

The ones who wanted to escape were generally over 50 and had long service as well. Due to pension rules and length of service people commanding a higher pay out have all been rejected out of hand.
Anybody under 40 without long service were mainly approved (as far as I understand it anyway)
Personnel still haven't drawn up an action plan to deal with people who will be put at risk, so we are all just waiting.
