We survived the mud...

I have never, ever been able to understand the mentality of people like that.
They know they are going to be outdoors for several days.
They see the weather forecast says words to the effect of 'pissing down'.
They see the advice to bring appropriate kit.
They then stand in said field, in said pissing down, in a T-shirt and trainers and then complain about getting wet.

I mean...what part didn't they understand?

I guess it comes down to one thing... I ain't scared to look most uncool in my goretex waterproof and lovely green wellies. The youngsters and indeed people old enough to know better put cool way ahead of dry and comfortable.

Glad to know you survived the experience and enjoyed it too. We did think of you lots as the rain poured down!

Thought of you guys too! Sorry I didn't come over. The thought of getting out and back in to the car park (wet and very muddy field) was just too dreadful. Will arrange another time to see you soon.
Hugs.
