I work for the National Union of Students in Scotland and partially as a result of our campaigning our Government's proposal to raise the minimum purchase age to 21yrs has been defeated in Parliament. We held a protest outside parliament on Thurs and have been lobbying and campaigning for weeks. I am so tired, but twas a good week's work! Thankfully as a staff member I'm an organiser not a participant so you can't see me in any of the clips - but our president is interviewed and I did see a glimpse of my manager's back! Still, there's more work to do as we need to see what legistlation they pull together now...
