I don't know how many of you watch Ice Road Truckers (I'm probably the only one, haha), but it's a show on the History Channel, and it's all about trucking on roads in the far north that are largely paved over frozen lakes and rivers--hence, Ice Road Truckers. I've met a former female trucker. She was kinda short, getting older, not terribly feminine, married to a biker. Joined Ring until she and her husband had a really bad motorcycle accident.

The way she told it, she had to be a better driver than the boys to get accepted, but she was in fact better so she kicked their butts and it was okay. :P

I'd say comic books and action movies are better than all my guilty pleasure shows. I watch all the The Real Housewives series (OC, NYC, Atlanta and New Jersey), as well as America's Next Top Model and What Not to Wear. Talk about horrific portrayals of women. D:
