My brother and I switched rooms last Saturday, but it wasn't actually completed until today. At least, mostly completed. I have repainted one of the walls, my dresser and my bed, have hung up almost all of my wall stuff, filled my bookcases and desk, and have a pretty closet. Life is good ( Read more... )

I feel like a lot of people in my area supported him because it was cool, not because they knew anything about politics

Oh my GOD this was the case with Ron Paul where I live. People would support him because their friends would. I HATE Ron Paul fanatics.

WTF? Ron Paul was a fad in your area? Ewwww. I fucking hate Ron Paul, blehhh. My class had to go to one of his rallies and it was full of a bunch of white smoking college guys in polo shorts and khakis whining about the government taking their moneez.

Pretty much. It was mostly a bunch of idiot hipsters in Austin, and all the head shops had Ron Paul shit on their property. Ugh.
