INDIO: A 21-year-old La Mesa man found unresponsive at a campsite after the Coachella Music and Arts Festival has died, authorities said.
Benjamin Nicholas Muller was hospitalized late Monday morning, and died a short time later, according to the Riverside County Coroner's Bureau.
Authorities are awaiting the results of toxicology tests to determine the cause of death. No foul play is suspected, an Indio police spokesman said.
Muller was camping with friends at a private estate near the festival last weekend, police said. Friends told police Muller walked with them to their campsite Sunday night, and they found him unconscious the next morning. -K.D.
