best personal films

I just re-watched a movie I've seen before and loved. So far I have 2 movies that no matter how many times I see them they are extremely emotionaly powerful to me. Every time I see them I cry. And I highly recomend them to anyone who enjoys emotional movies.

What Dreams may Come

The Fountain

I remember seeing What Dreams May Come for the first time with you in the theater in Portland.... And you taking me back to the Viking, understanding how badly I needed to be with him right then.

It's one of my fondest memories of you, my friend. You gave me what I needed, when I needed it, even when it wasn't to be with you right then.

Thank you for that.

*hugs*

Seems silly, but it still makes me a bit weepy after all these years.

*blushes* yes it was very intense and although a bit rough I could easily understand why you needed to be with him right then.

Your very welcome.

On the romance movie side hmmm lets see. Always, Roxanne, oh and I know there might be a couple more with Holly Hunter as well.

They are romantic comedy/dramas from the 80's. One person after seeing Always, said that she could see that all my romantic and relationship viewpoints are kinda summed up in that film. I'm not sure if I completely agree, but I can see some of them. Even polyamory.

Maybe I should bring them over and have a movie night sometime.

Wow, it looks beautiful, but impossibly intense! I'm not sure I could handle it.

Impossibly? Guess I've been doing the impossible for a while now and not even knowing it. I loved both those movies.

I wanted to know more about the history of the main character in the Fountain between time periods, but it was a beautiful film. Saw it in the theatre and our friends and my ex didn't like it.
