WELL it's sort of hard to follow up a post about death with a post about anything, so I haven't posted shit in a month. Thanks for all y'all comments & support. I am an introverted person and it is nice to have a way to talk about something that doesn't involve eye contact or a spotlight, but still know that I am talking to people who are listening

I played 2 originals and a cutesy cover of a bad brains song and then a cover of a why song. I was so nervous but it went pretty okay, and I think that the less nervous I get the better I will play!

Maybe you will come visit Portland some day and play one with me ;)

I sometimes find myself defending LJ for just the reason you said above. It's sort of universally derided by the tech-savvy and social media early adopters, but this is really the only place on the Internet where I talk about real things -- and that's only because I know that friends who I trust are the only ones who will read it.

I hope your birthday pizza was well worth the digestive troubles. :)
