Last week, I finally got Patrick to join me onstage at open mic! We played 4 misfits covers for halloween, and it was really fun and people liked it. 2 days later, at work, I played a few songs at a celebration of the writing group's first magazine. I didn't do especially well because I hadn't much prepared, and chose to play songs that catered to

I think I asked you this once, but where do you do open mic? Sometimes I wish I had an open mic to go to. Anyway, congrats on overcoming your stage fright. I remember I used to have crazy stage fright, and it seems so absurd to imagine having it now. Instead, I have this weird sort of pre-performance anxiety where I pace continuously until I'm allowed on stage, and then realize I'm tired from pacing for the past two hours. What does your act consist of these days? Do you do originals? Just curious.

I go to the one at Dogfish on free street, on wednesday nights. For a while I went almost every week, which really helped me to feel comfortable performing, but now I'm sort of transitioning to less-often-better-prepared. I usually do originals (other than MISFITS WEEK!)

If you want to come or, even better, if you want to hang out and put something together and play duo, that would be real cool.
