good luck with the bike hunt. I've got a frame myself and I'm waiting for some wheels, but when I get those, I'mma be commuting to work in downtown DC and cussing out drivers like nobody's biznass

Driving to work/class for me would be really impractical considering I'm going to live on friendly for awhile. It's not a long ride to campus, so bike.

Although please take care of yourself riding in downtown DC, that's kind of a crazy city from what I remember .. although I'm sure you already know this, haha I'm not sure how friendly it is to bikes.
