Lovely job on him, as always, atemu-chan. =) This pic has always been one of Kaname's better ones. (Although for some reason I never realized he was in the NC uniform 'til you colored it, lol! *pays no attention to detail*)

Hino's art from the 30ish chapters to chapter 50 has always been my favorite of her styles. It's such a shame she's been so lazy lately.

He is gorgeous, but then again when Kaname is not gorgeous (hm, to my eyes at least LOL)...thanks for the coloring, really good work, I took some time to learn coloring at Photoshop and it does take quite a time to make this and Kaname's hair...omg there are difficult, but you have done a really good work, even though its sad to see him so unhappy...

Couldn't agree more with you about Hino's latest art, there is something that has changed...m..the details? the backgrounds seems to be missing. Actually I do not get it, because it is supposed to be popular, so the sales do not provide for her better conditions for her work as more assistants, better materials, anyway..I am a long way from knowing how mangakas actually work, even though it might be the style like at the hair that seem with less volume than before. In the volumes though the art style is far better. I hope she keeps it up.

I prefer Kaname to be unhappy because I think his happiness lies with his past, which is a torment to his present life, which makes him do things we still have no idea what it is, which, according to my nonsensical logic, makes me happy whenever I write or colour him since it gives me meaning, more life about a fictional character.

It depends. Some often choose to keep things simple during magazine publication since there's deadline and stress coming from all direction but during the volume publication, complex details and corrections are added. I guess when one's a popular mangaka, it's fine for the details to wait until the volume publication? Hmm. Then again, I find others still gorgeous with details (and inking and screentones) so it's unexplainable.
