I've been meditating on the Twix "need a moment" ad campaign. The one that's been increasingly annoying me for months and that I can't avoid because they've been seeing increasing playtime on most of the video streaming sites I frequent. (bearing in mind that the only time I see or hear those commercials is while catching clips on youtube or when someone turns on the radio...) They annoy me. Partially because they're played to death and beyond, and partially because I'm trying to keep to Wheaton's law these days (it's safer that way)

It's not just you. Unfortunately, we seem to live in the Age of the Immature Douchebag, so they probably resonate with their target audience perfectly well. Who needs you to buy a single Twix when the spray-on-tan-and-three-bottles-of-hair-gel crowd gets it by the case?
