Days of overcast during the summer last so damn long.

Hours of warm and neutral monochrome.

Things seem muted and dull even when that's not actually the case.

My social life is exploding all around me and the hardest part is coming to grips with the fact that maybe I can't shift the outcome of every situation I get or find myself in.

Incredible highs and exasperated lows.

I'm not in control of my immediate environment right now and I'm attempting to appreciate the uncertainty.

Ah, the uncertainty.

All things considered, I've had two smashing weekends in a row that I'll hopefully remember for a very long time.

"Hope" because there's this nasty tendency of mine to forget a lot of important things.

It's just that...I can't help but feel like I should be railing huge, thick and domineering lines of Zoloft...

I don't base my self worth on what other people think about me.

It's just that when it seems as if more people like me than they dislike me...I don't know, something chemical takes place inside my brain?

I'll feel better.

I appear less transparent.

Sometimes as a designer, I get really fucking frustrated.

I just want to create sexy beautiful and stylishly original things that lots of people like and be successful at it.

I want to be the envy of others.

Not the one who envies.
