Aw, I stumbled across a DN timeline and realized today's M&M's death day (unless you go by my super-awesome Mello-has-backup-plans-for-his-backup-plans characterization, which I know *I* do....).

Still, in memoriam*, I ate a quarter pound of chocolate and worked some more on the comic. I couldn't finish it...

Eeeee, love this! I'm very pleasantly shocked by how different the boys look in each other's clothes, would really want to read the story behind this, oh my god...!

I will work on it! it's just a silly odd story.... I've had this page stuck on my page wall for a few days and I'm continually struck by the fact that Mello is (I *think*) pretty recognizable as "Mello-in-Matt's clothes" but without Mello for reference, Matt would probably be unrecognizable. It's really made me ponder Matt's character on the whole....

Aw, I hope you're not being hard on yourself. Matt was in so few panels in canon, and his chatacter so flimsily fleshed out, that a lot of mainstream DN don't even remember him :( I seriously believe that one reason Matt is so popular is because his characterisation is about 80% fanon - and I love him for it <3

Random, but I love Matt's hands in this!
