Fathers heart attack and my sobriety

On Friday August 3rd, my father had a heart attack. He is fine. No permanant damage. A vein around his heart was 99% closed. Two stints were put in to open it up. I hope your da is doing more and more well each day - and I am proud you did what you needed to do to make you feel better each day. :hug: here's to sobriety-I did it years ago..no relapse yet. It's not bad.

thanks for the support. i was sober almost eight years..so i know whats i got to do. cant wait till my energy level comes back

I'm really happy your father is okay, I only met him a few times I believe but he is a kickass guy. I'm not one to talk about sobriety, but when it comes to alcohol, I can. I'm glad you've been clean for 2 weeks. I always love ya no matter what but when I used to drink I was an idiot. I feel like I've let you down in the last few years.
