Personal History:
Addison is Lima-born and bred, growing up with her older brother, Brandon, in their family home. She was quite close with her parents when she was a child, but doesn’t get along too well with them - especially her mother - anymore. Their relationship has been rocky since she came out to them in the eighth grade, and when Brandon moved away shortly after Christmas 2010, things only got worse. In summer 2011, she moved in with her aunt, uncle, and their son - her cousin - Isaac. She and Isaac, born less than a month apart, have always been close, and they’re both having the time of their lives with the new living arrangement.
She isn’t totally cut off from her parents, as her aunt and uncle are still in contact with them, but she does her best to have as little contact with them as possible. It’s not hard, considering they seem to be following a similar philosophy with her. In an attempt to further separate herself from her parents, she’s in the process of getting her name legally changed (replacing her last name with her middle name). She can be stubborn at times, and is already refusing to answer to ‘Miss. Erikson’, or anything else involving her surname - she is truly determined to have nothing to do with her parents.
For the first two years of high school, she was on the WMHS cheerleading squad - the Cheerios. She only joined to try and have something in common with her mother (she’d been a cheerleader for her entire high school career), but she just didn’t enjoy it enough to bother trying out again in the eleventh grade. Beside, Becca (see below) was also on the team, and Addison wasn’t sure that she could subject herself to that day in and day out.
Addison had been in a serious relationship throughout grades nine and ten with a girl named Rebecca Mason, but they broke up shortly before Addison moved in with Isaac and his parents. She was - and still is - heartbroken about it, but she’s doing everything she can to cover it up, including indulging in some potentially self-destructive behaviours. Addison’s dating history also includes a relationship with her best friend, Katrina, for a few months in the eighth grade. After having only those two girlfriends and always remaining faithful to them, now that Addison is single, she’s been exploring her sexuality a lot more - and it’s led her to the realization that, although she typically claims to be a lesbian, she’s beginning to identify as a homo-romantic bisexual. Essentially, what that means is that she’s physically and sexually attracted to both males and females, but only romantically attracted to other females. She figures this probably makes her a good choice for guys who are looking for sex with no-strings-attached, since she won’t end up falling for them.
Personality Traits:
Loud: Some people might call Addison obnoxious, but she prefers ‘loud.’
Opinionated: When Addison has an opinion about something, it’s usually a strong opinion and one that she’ll fight to defend.
Musically-inclined: Music means the world to Addison, and she's talented in it to boot. She plays bass and piano, as well as sings.
Confident: Addison is very confident in her looks, her talent, and her school-work, but she doesn't necessarily flaunt it more than she should.
Careless: Sometimes Addison can say things that are a bit tactless or inappropriate for a given situation, or she may forget about a promise, a meeting, or what have you.
Selfish: Unfortunately, Addison has the potential to be quite selfish at times. As she's used to taking care of herself, she's also used to living for herself and not for other people's whims.

Journal Entry
Dearest Lima Losers Internet Addicts,
Addison here and reporting for duty! This summer was actually kind of important, so let’s have a run-down;
I moved in with my aunt and uncle shortly after school ended - probably one of the smartest things that I’ve ever decided to do. I am so done with my parents and with living at home, especially now that Brandon’s moved to Chicago. I spent enough time at this house when I was growing up that it doesn’t feel like a huge change anyway - aside from it making my life so much less stressful. Isaac’s always felt more like a brother than a cousin, too, so it just makes sense to have him around all the time anyway. Bitch spends more time in the bathroom than I do, though - I never had to worry about that with Bran - but we deal alright. I’ve got a pretty decent vanity table in my room now, anyway.
That’s not the only important thing that happened this summer, though - in case you didn’t hear, Becca and I broke up. Yeah, after two years she decided it was time to “go our separate ways”. I won’t lie, it was pretty unexpected. I’m dealing alright, though - fuck bitches, right? There are thousands of people out there who are better than Rebecca Mason; besides, being single led to me having one hell of a fun summer - and I’m not just talking about when Isaac and I burnt everything that Becks had ever given me ;) Who wants to be tied down to one person for their entire high school experience, anyway? I intend to make the best of my current single status.
That sums up my summer, I suppose - might as well keep it brief, right?
Third Person
Being back at school sucked; at the end of the first lunch hour of the year, no longer having the protection of her Cheerio uniform and status, Addison found herself met with a cold dose of reality - literaly. Turning the corner and heading for her locker, she barely had time to register what was coming at her before she was met with a faceful of cold, sticky, grape slushie. Lovely, really. Cursing under her breath, the girl reached up to wipe the slush away from her eyes and then forced herself to keep walking without another word. Stopping at her locker, she wiped her hands on her shirt before unlocking it and pulling out her binders and books for the afternoon, along with a change of clothes.
She would be late for her next class - perhaps she wouldn't show up at all - but Addison wasn't bothered. Closing her locker carefully - she refused to slam in and show the weakness of anger - she tucked her books into her backpack and then headed towards the girl's locker room. Her clothes - a white tank-top and lightly coloured denim skirt - were ruined, more than likely, but she intended to leave them to soak while she showered nonetheless.
