I picked up another car today... this one is a 1991 Acura Integra GS with an new LS motor... all the power options, and it's white. I will post pictures AFTER I pick all the rice off of it. List of things to REMOVE: half-finished crushed velvet interior (ugh), shitty-fitting fiberglass Z3-style fenders (gills... ), shitty-fitting fiberglass front ( Read more... )

Apparently it's a pile of crap, because the current owner keeps telling me when I call him that he's still fixing stuff... last weekend he pulled the new motor out to re-do the wiring harness because it was throwing like 7 check engine codes because of a short somewhere in the harness. I got tired of bugging him and just gave up on it, don't want a car with electrical problems anyway.

This model is what I really wanted anyway... 2 door hatchback, and it was 200 bucks less, and it has the same motor that was swapped into the red one, plus it has all power options, and the only electrical problem is the passenger side power window switch doesn't work.

It's just all riced out... I removed all the crushed velvet the guy glued onto the interior trim, only to find green paint... brushed onto the interior trim. So, now I have to find some random interior pieces for it.

On Police records a wanted criminal, Green Hornet is really Matt Johnston, mild-mannered college student, his dual identity known only to his mother and to a band of small dogs. And now, to protect the rights and lives of decent citizens, rides THE GREEN HORNET."

ROFL... nice touch with the band of small dogs part.. it's funny because it's TRUE.

I wanted to cry when I saw all that glue and green paint, but instead I kept a stiff upper lip and started ripping, prying, cursing at and generally destroying every piece of green interior.

I feel like I've adopted an abused stepchild or something... I can't just give up now, the poor car would go back to that BAD MAN who did all this.
