Well, jokes aren't meant to be serious. Where I'm from people who are married often make light of their joining. Many woman pick on their husbands like this. He might have done something to upset her.

Ah, I think Logan was telling me about the elves. I'd like to meet them sometime.

They are pretty handy, they let me see better in the dark. I think one of my best features is my prehensile tail. It's very versatile in it's use.
