i actually don't have photoshop yet, those word bubbles were added using a regular paint program. the text will most likely be changed to suit the rallying cry of the fans (comic sans, like you said, rocks)
i probably won't use any color until i get a set of colored pens. which i'll buy when i get some more money. i tried to color it using paint, but i took me like a half hour to color jake's hair in one cell.
and i'm not really too sure why panel 1 is fuzzy, buy i'll try to keep an eye on that for upcoming strips, again, i don't have photoshop yet, and i'm using a progam called HP Imagezone, which came with my scanner, so far its working ok, but a copy of photoshop would be helpful, wink wink.
and i know scott's goatee is a different color from his hair, i think thats funny.

OOOH!!! All you had to say was "MS Paint" and I would have understood completely. No wonder the quality of the image is bad. (I'm sure you've noticed that pixel crap all over the place... ^^;)
UNFORTUNATELY, even if you use colored markers, they're still going to come out dull if you scan them. It will look, esentially, like a scanned image. Don't BOTHER using MS Paint for anything. It's buhtarded.
The reason the first panel is all funny is because it's been shrunk. (Or at least that's how it usually happens...) Usually if you stick a quick sharpen filter over it you'll be fine... But really, when you color it over in photoshop none of that will matter.
Gimme a call whenever or something and I'll see about getting you some photoshoppy goodness.
