Ultimately, lying is a waste of not only energy but talent. Reality is, after all, plaint. Instead of plotting believably alibis, why not obliterate all traces of your crimes.

This year I resolve to be more honest.

This year I also resolve to be more honest. Last year I tried to be more honest with others, but I think that that was the wrong way to go about the problem. This year, I will stop lying to myself in the hopes that when I speak the truth to others, it will be the REAL truth (as much as one can know any such thing), not to truth according to Maria's Delusions.

That said, my conscience is currently suffering somewhat, but I believe it will heal with time. Thanks for asking.
