There are equally powerful and equally effective sociological, physiological, epistemological, and ontological forces at work to make men crazy. The toy gun analogy is an apt one. Look at the gender disparity in prison population, the war dead, and college enrollment.
I, for one, would rather society tell me to want Italian leather than to be cannon fodder.
As far as I can tell you got it right. I would've tried to go crazy explaining the science and therefore made it confusing. Your explanation is great :)
I never got around to replying to this, I'm sorry. I guess I'd just like to say, thanks for your point of view, it was very informative. Also, I'm glad you took my post the way I meant it, which wasn't accusatory but more in a laugh-at-life tone. :)
