So I'm sitting here watching a video of someone playing Friday the 13th for the SNES. I remember it as being one of the most annoying things ever, where the basic principals of left and right didn't apply. Don't feel bad - I've thrown Super Metroid at the back of the closet and can't find it, and yet I made sure the SeaQuest DSV game is easily accessable. I don't even like the show!

ZSNES is an awesome tool. And if you're interested in emulation, check out what a mate of mine is making: http://durandal666.blogspot.com/ . Basically, it's a portable suitcase arcade machine that plays any concole from 1995 back to the year dot :D

OMG that contraption-to-be looks so badass. I wants one! And good on your buddy for having the ability to even make something like that. I wish I was that talented :( The other day I googled "how to build a proton pack" and got back a shockingly detailed blue print. Complex math + blonde = brain explosion.
