After finishing my day at the Grand Canyon, I drove my exhausted ass back to Flagstaff for the evening where I checked into the hotel and immediately went to the hot tub for a much needed soak, then went to the only restaurant nearby that was not an IHOP or fast food, Denny's. I had hoped when I originally was planning this trip that I would get to go to UT as well to hit the national parks there, but I am still paying hospital bills, so I had to cut WAY back on this trip. Still, I was very satisfied with what I was able to see and do.

This set of photos is extraordinary! The intensity of the colors - the red of the rocks, the blue of the skies is amazing. You'll be able to sell these photos if you choose to do so!

Thanks Neil - I am working on a plan of sorts to see if I can do so. After this trip, I would SO move to that part of Arizona if I thought I ever could afford it. Problem there is, photographers and photo studio/galleries are a dime a dozen. There are trails to hike on all over the place and the air is so clean as well. It is gorgeous for sure. But for now, the plan remains to get to Oregon/Washington in another year.
