They say it's your birthday... [party post - open to all!]
As a reminder, this party will be like the V-Day orgy or Pirate Day event in that it’s IC, but does not affect the game. It’s just a chance for everyone to have a little fun and celebrate a very special day!
Chris took a last look around his apartment, making sure everything was in place. He’d been out of town for the past week, so most of the day had been spent doing chores and running errands. He’d even changed the sheets on his bed and made sure there were some for the futon in the spare room - not that he was expecting they’d be used, but you never knew who might need to crash.
There were snacks and sweets laid out on the kitchen table, and a makeshift bar set up on the counter next to the sink, with an array of liquor at the ready. He’d even bought some of that crap Quinto liked, since his original plan had been a double party for him and Karl. Zach had texted the other day to say he likely wouldn’t be back in town, but Chris put the bottle out with the others anyway. A bucket of ice out on the balcony had bottles of beer chilling, and there were extras for when those ran out.
He hooked his iPod into the stereo, putting it on shuffle before checking the time. People should start showing up soon, he noticed, so he dashed into his bedroom to change shirts.
Chris had just grabbed a blue button-down shirt and shrugged into it when he heard his phone announce a new text. He fished it out of his pocket, leaving the shirt half-buttoned while he checked the message.
