I am still dying to watch the film. I think that in the case of Satrapi's work there is still something to be added by the intonations and movement of film. Especially given that the animation style follows that of the books. I need to lend you my copy of the first book. Although you have read the compilation there is something about segmenting her story that I find compelling. The feel of the book in your hands, the slickness of the book jacket (mine is a hardcover) and the lightness offer a fascinating contrast to the material contained within.
