epic The Fat Duck eating adventure is epic indeed.

As some of the f-list probably already know, yesterday found me lunching at Heston Blumenthal's The Fat Duck. I'm still a bit stunned that I have actually (and finally!) eaten there (3 Michelin stars, best restaurant in the UK, currently the third best in the world etc), but ah well. Exciting eating experiences, hurrah!

Wow. That is impressive on so many levels--not the least, the way you've shared it all so completely with us! Thank you! What an amazing experience. I don't know where to start with which dish is the more astonishing and gorgeous--just from the photo, not to mention the taste! That Queen of Hearts dessert! The Mock Turtle Soup! The Snail Porridge! (Okay, I wouldn't have eaten more than half of this, but I definitely appreciate it all. *g*) Wow. Hmm. I think we should all chip in and send you off to the other best world restaurants... *g* But...how can you ever eat again?

I'm sorry to have to be the one to break it to you but I think you missed the restaurant and wondered in to a performance art space where they decided to take your money anyway as you were offering. *g*

Of course add the performance art and the 4.5 hour experience of that performance to the excellence of the food and the price begins to look much more reasonable. I mean, how much do you pay for theatre tickets? *is good at justification*

I'm so glad you enjoyed it, petal. ♥
