Coming Out Anniversary

As marked by every November 20th, it is a personal anniversary for me. On Nov. 20, 1998, is when my parents found out I was gay, and I choose to acknowledge that as the official day I came out. I don't really celebrate it, or do anything, it's just a day I recognize for myself, and know who I truly am. A day of reflection, and I wanted to share it ( Read more... )

I remember you told me over ICQ sometime in late 1998 or early 1999, and expected me to be shocked and start judging you or something, neither of which I did.

I was kinda confused about the fact that you'd dated girls, but I figured that part out when I realized how many people came out the moment they left the illustrious halls of CCHS.

err... okay, maybe not funny. *HUG* I think it is important for you to mark the anniversary. From what I've seen of many good friends, coming out to ones family and friends is very emotional and difficult. *hugs you* I think that you should get strength from this type of anniversary. :)
