So I'm thinking of auditioning for VLA's (local community theater) production of The Full Monty. I have until I get off work at 5 pm CDT to get feedback from folks. I need recommendations of those who are familiar with the script to give me the best advice on who I should audition for, and if it's a production worth auditioning for. Let me know!

oddly enough, this show is very dependent on casting for "looks"... the main character (Gary, aka Gaz) is a skinny wiry guy... his best friend (Dave) is a fat guy... their boss (Gerald) is old and sorta frumpy... there's a black guy... the moral of the story being that no matter your shape/size/age/color/profession, if you believe in yourself you can accomplish great things.
I can see you as the lead (Gary)... there are 2 other guys (character names I can't remember or figure out at the moment) that become part of the crew doing the "full monty" that I think you'd be good as.
how exciting! I wish I could be here to see it!
