People hating Universities
One thing I notice, the more I talk to conservatives, is that they seem to think of universities as a bastion of liberalism. The smart ass in me would ask what it says about conservatives when the highest educated people in the country are part of a "bastion of liberalism

It seems to me that saying "fuck you, I'll do it my way" is pretty much the basis of the United States. What would have happened if the colonists said "Yes! King George is the absolute source of Truth! Tax the shit out of us please!"
Hell, no one would've gotten here, because no one would have been upset about religion in the first place.
