My Appeal: The Editorial WARNING: Emotional content is contained

First impressions are that Kelley is as professional as ever in the commission of her Duties as Club Director.

First and a half, I do appreciate the members who worked on this. I am less than pleased in the results, but they are what I expected. I take Kelley at her word that a lot of discussion was done. The fact that that much discussion was done onthe matter both gives me hope and frightens me. If it takes alot of discussion to uphold a DA, what's it gonna take to get one overturned? But never the less, I do appreciate the time taken.

To the Individual Council Member who might read this, it's open to all, so all of you can. Please understand the following statements refer not to individual members, but the entity called the Camarilla Council itself. The Council is an entity which is an animal completely different than the members which make it up.

Second is that the Council still protects it's own.

1. Yes, Pearce was not *required* to conduct an investigation. HOWEVER, sending me e-mails such as "Explain yourself" and so forth with the rest of them IMO constitute an Investigation. So to me, while he wasn't required to, he did, and screwed the pooch doing it. However since it wasn't "required" it gets ignored, except the parts wher eI shove my foot further in my mouth.

2. WTF, no 24 Hour rule given to me and we see nothing wrong with this picture.

3. Last I knew the person who provoked the raging pissed off man was as susceptible to punishment under the CoC as the person who got flipped. Yet he's still trotting along, with no consequnces being himself, while both my own direct Coordinator and his are stonewalling my attempts to follow DR procedures. Obviously mouthing off is acceptable and I should be able to use "satire" to call him a raging cocksucker with no response.

4. BEHOLD A SHADOW POLICY DIRECT FORM THE CD

"2. Prestige Levels for DA’s particularly on lists are often stripped according to the scope of the list where the offence took place - with general being for a local list, regional for a regional list and so forth. Your violation occurred on a national list, therefore national was stripped. I know for my part, when I have to DA people on general-ooc, etc - I start with national, similar to prestige strips from conventions and special events. If a violation happens at USCC or ICC the strip starts with National, but if it was a SCaRE or Eclipse for example - in most cases the strip would be from regional first.  So the perception you expressed that stripping from national would make it two categories higher is not shared by the members of the council." - KBH from a missive quoted in full in the previous entry

Remember what I've told you folks about the council being able to institute bylaws and policies without anyoen's say so? LOOK! Proof they did. And it was such an inconsequential thing they didn't even bother telling anyone about it or publishing it anywhere.

So, let's get this policy straight.

Calling someone a "pretentious jackass" locally is worth general, Regionally (on a Regional list or at a Regional Event) is worth regional Prestige, and ifyou do so Nationally (on a National List or National Convention) It's worth National Prestige.

But this isn't worth taking the time to tell anyone. Let's just keep this policy secret and behind closed doors so that when someone complains we can pop it out. Steppign punishment this way without letting the Membership know isn't a betrayal of trust either.

Wionderful backroom bullshit folks.

Third,Don't go above MC 9.
From what I can see I saw no statement of any of my points being mitgating factors, so I'll still consider the mere fact I was MC9+ the reason why my "Moderate offense" was jumped up to Major. Simply put, I dont' see any other reason for it to have been. Especially when one considers it was a 1st offense of any kind in 13 years.
