Oh my! I can imagine how much of a mess you were, but yay! You made it!

Wow! I had no idea about the thyroid. They didn't test anything like that for me either but I did have iron and vitamin d supplements during my pregnancy with Blake.

I hope Eric is able to talk his mother into getting some help in, it sounds like they all need it :(

Oh yeah, I knew some of that. My good friend Nat has a thyroid condition and she had loads of trouble getting and staying pregnant and that was why. I didn't know about the neurological issues though! That's crazy! Why don't they check this beforehand? I mean maybe they do and I don't remember lol I had a bunch of blood tests at the fertility clinic too. They made sure I had been immunized for MMR and also STI's.

I think it did, but I'm not 100% sure. Are you taking vitamin c too? I used to take an iron pill called ferrera-c or something and it had it combined because vitamin c helps the absorption of iron or something.

I think I did just two blood tests in the US during my pregnancy... Here they want you to do them as regularly as the urines so every time you are about to go see the doctor, but it's quite cheap to get it done even if you go private! A full blood work here it's not even 40$ and urine is like 3$... If you go public it's completely free!

I'm sorry to hear about your friend Nat... Thing is thyroid can change during pregnancy so it's a good thing always keep it in check...

Yep, vitamin C too, and my diet also contains a lot of vitamine C so I really hope the iron levels will raise soon! I will see the blood tests results tomorrow... I was hoping for them to take a little bit longer so I could have them on Monday since my ob/gyn appointment is on Tuesday and I really don't want to see something on them and get frustrated...

Bronn and Jamie are brotp for life.

Also, I read the first Girl w/ a Dragon Tattoo (and the second, I think?) I adored the books, but then the movies came out and really made a mess of things.

The movies were horrible. Both the American and the Swedish version. Lisbeth in the American version was too much... and Mikael in the swedish version was so badly casted and not strong enough... Mikael is a smart sassy guy, not a weak man...

Then in both movies they changed the plot for no reason... In the first book you suspect a lot of people and for different reasons... in the movies you don't even feel like there is a mystery to solve...

The second book is very good, better than the first one and there are a lot of plot twists, same as the third one that concludes the trilogy leaving still the door open for more!!! :)

Yeah, I almost feel like they were trying way too hard to make her look 'hardcore' or some nonsense.

The first book especially it was so damn intriguing, and then the movie was like so flat and wow, it could have been so good but yeah.

I have such a bad memory I can't recall if I've read all three or not, but gosh yeah totally agree, neither the American or Swedish versions were any good at all.

The second and the third concentrate more on Salander as she finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time... does it sound familiar... (the third is the building up of a case connected on the second book)

Glad you made it back home safely!! The trip home sounds like a mess/not fun, but at least you made it!

I'm sorry to hear about Eric's mom. Hopefully he can talk her in to getting some help with her care.

I'm so glad I don't have to travel for a while now! I needed a break from all of that!

I really hope he'll be able to do it! He needs to be strong and I know he can do it even if he's such a sweet guy!

I'm sorry to hear about Eric's mom. I hope she agrees to get a nurse this time around, because the situation is going to get even harder when her Parkinson's advances.

I really hope so too! Her Parkinson is quite advanced now... It was quick, but I guess it can always get worse... I really hope he'll be able to convince her!
